Day 8

  1. Wow. I love the rustic places you are finding. I live in a smallish town that is celebrating its 75th this year and no cool rustic stone buildings anywhere around for 400 miles!

  2. I really like those diamond accents and how the vines seem to be reaching into the center.

  3. I don't know if there really is one, but my eyes seem to be seeing some sort of distortion or optical illusion with those diamond shapes. They seem to be bowing out toward me. Or it could be just my astigmatism. In either event, a very intriguing wall! And I do like the inclusion of the plant to break up all the hard stone.

  4. The creeping plant goes well with the stonework - it fits in really well and I agree with Buff about the diamonds.

  5. I'm like Buff and feel that the diamond shapes are coming forward. Was that skill or a fluke? Either way, I really like the pic and the little bit of green adds to it.

  6. The plants creeping into it make it feel kind of spooky in a way :P

  7. Those vines look pretty on one hand, and quite insidiously creeping to overtake the place, on the other. Another lovely find of great brickwork!

  8. Those vines lead you right to the brick patterns. Nice selection.
